Woot I am number 9 on deposit , they thought they had more from other sales guys. Glad that wasn't the case. Car is bigger then I thought. The back seats is a joke though and I am only 5'6. Fits like kids who need car seats only. The height for tall people should be fine.

Was nice meeting some of you guys there too. Look forward to a brz meet when we all get our cars.

I just didn't. Could have, but it was just me and this was an hour before they were supposed to open, I did not want to be too intrusive. Interior felt very nice, like a high end GTI or better. The steering wheel was of high quality material but not as thick or as small as I had imagined. I have medium/big sized hands and I would have preferred a thicker wheel but I prefer really thick wheels like in the TC or M3. Also, the part of the wheel that bulges for your hands is high at around 10 and 2, could have been slightly lower for my taste. Like most Japanese cars, I would have liked the steering wheel to telescope more but it came close enough, however, I like the wheel very close to me. Overall it felt like a very nice sports car with room for 4 six foot people for short trips perhaps no longer than an hour or two depending on their age.

edit: the force needed for me to lift the hood was about the same as for my moms yaris. It is extremely light.

Loving all these impressions. I think you guys are confused with the Aha radio stuff. You are all getting Aha radio whether you want it or not. That's built into the nav unit, and has nothing to do with the steering wheel buttons.

I would have liked some small steering wheel buttons, but the way they designed the buttons on the CES show car was horrendous, especially the cruise control part, so I'd rather just go without them.

hmm what control buttons? there wasn't any when I sat in a Limited, but then again The limited I sat in was an Auto the Paddles were there so I can't imagine there be space for buttons behind the wheels.

I think your right on this and that they are probably going back to the drawing board on the steering wheel with buttons. Or do we think the one we have seen will just be optional.
