-30? Lol, try below -40 in Calgary, Alberta yesterday. Reported to be the coldest place on the planet. Even Antarctica was warmer!

It's dry still, but I put on a set of winter tires yesterday. Evenin dry pavement, the increased grip over the Michelin primacy is noticeable. I was surprised how different the car feels with the improved traction

No winter tires either I'll bet. On the truck I mean. Doesn't matter what you drive if you're on the wrong tires.

Bingo. Im going to get a kick out of all the people starting 'I lost control of my car in the snow' threads. When you buy a RWD, 2800lb coupe and you keep your pruis tires on to DD in the winter, then you are asking for trouble.

I can't wait for snow. Living in the northwest I've driven in it all my life. I've isnt hard to drive on either just throttle and counter steer. The real problem is other drivers. Hitting the brakes is the dumbest thing u can do IMO. Downshift and let that slow you down only brake gently.

It's bogus, there is no increased grip in the dry over OEM Michelins until you hit like -30F.

Apparently there us no limit to the depth OR breadth of your ignorance.

Thanks for sharing anyway. We need to know who doesn't know squat about anything, particularly winter driving.
