Can any of you gentlemen do me a huge favor and verify whether the car's manufacture date appears on the door jamb sticker? It'll follow this format MM/YY and is usually found on that sticker that has the psi recommendations and VIN.

I'll be going to a dealer tomorrow to check out a car and I just wanna make sure I can easily figure out when it was made. It's been a while since I've had to decode a VIN for the purpose of ascertaining a car's MY.

Thanks!

This is on the reverse side of the trunk mat. The car was available late November 2012 but was only able to pick it up Dec 4, 2012.

Things got iffy when she started telling me that they'd only order me a car if it was aero and I had to get in-house financing. That's why I asked for other dealers that are willing to play ball.

As for the end of the year, it won't be a big deal especially if your car was ordered for you cause it'll be a MY14. It'll be reflected in the VIN and manufacture date.
Try Toyota BGC look for Jhessy, tell her Paul referred you(pwhite 86), shes my sales rep when i got mine, very easy to talk to got my 86 base model, u can also ask her about not getting the in house financing, i got the in house financing bcos they gave me a good deal on insurance and registration, etc.

The regular FMB thread in this forum should be very helpful since the collective experience is that much larger. The AVO thread was so helpful when I had mine installed. Do you have a specific local (Philippine) concern?
No issue. I am one of those 86 fans lurking and wanted to find out how the local FBM units are doing, if there any issues, also wanted to know the local hp.tq numbers after they tuned it. I find FBM units quite fantastic.

I read lotsa stuff about the "chirping" problem in this forum. Since I got my unit last october, never heard of it and was complacent that it wouldnt appear cuz we have Blaze 100octane... And Ive been using the same fuel since day 1..
Till last night I heard the dreaded chirping. Im on 3,000 km now. Has anyone here experienced this?
