I as well purchase my parts from vendors online and install them myself. However, if you aren't comfortable doing this yourself, I'd recommend going to Solid-Technology and stay as far away from Motiva as possible. I know many people that have had cars built and/or tuned by Motiva that have suffered engine failure due to their craftsmanship. Solid-Technology has been around for a while and have done crazy builds on both domestic and imports here in Albuquerque.

Cameron is a good friend of mine. He hasn't tuned a BRZ/FR-S yet, however, he told me ECUFlash now has definitions for supporting the tuning of our cars and he's going to try and read my ECU to see if he can get into it to tune. Once he gains access to being able to tune our cars I would strongly recommend taking your car to him. He tuned my old evo numerous times and I experienced significant power gains on both pump has & E85.

As for everyone's discussion about wheel fitment, check out http://www.willtheyfit.com. Between this and doing hours of research in the wheel fitment guides on this forum I went with a set of 18x9.5 +40 wrapped in 245/40R18 lowered on coilovers. It truely is the perfect fitment to bring the wheels out right to the fenders. I did not have to do any fender modifications, nor do I have rubbing issues on this set up. (and I'm pretty low)

Here's a close up picture of my flush wheel set up for reference:
Have you noticed any difference in speed after going to the 18" rims?
What tire did you put on them?
Also how low do you have it lowered?

Not really much of a difference speed wise with the 18" vs 17". Only thing I did notice is my MPG dropped 1-2mpg since I have wider tires (245/40R18 vs stock 215/45R17). These wheels weigh the same or just a hair less than stock wheels. They were exactly 20lbs each when I weighed them (no tires)

I have 245/40R18 Dunlop DZ101 tires on them. I should have went 255/35R18 and probably will next time I need to buy tires for it.

I'm not sure how much lower than stock it is. It sits 24 3/4" from ground to the fender. I'm going to guess a good 2 1/2" to 3" lower than stock

And you have no rubbing issues on the fender or strut perch?
