For any thinking about the under panels. I personally really like mine. It's not a part you really see much but it really cleans up the underside of the car. I'd be buying hem if I didn't already have a set.

BRZ started turning into a weekend toy. I'm fine driving my Civic daily. Gets great gas mileage. Feels no different driving a BRZ on a day to day basis (both are slow, lol). Couldn't justify letting the car just rot in the garage. ITR was cheap. Don't mind wrecking it at the track, reliable, etc. BRZ DI failures didn't make me feel very confident either.

Just my rationale for selling the BRZ.

Its not really the snow thats the issue its the ridiculously slow traffic and clutch holding sucks!

Does anyone know if the wiring harness for the snow mode is in the manual cars I want to use that button for other purposes?

I think all the snow mode does in the autos is start them in second gear from a dead stop.

That and from what I can tell it also change the shift points. Basically the effect is keeping the RPMs/Torque low to avoid spinning he wheels. It's certainly something you can do yourself with an MT, but it's nice to not have to think about it and just mash on the gas and let the car figure it out.

Any tips on how to prevent/avoid the windows from frosting while driving? I can keep the front and back visible using the defroster but the side windows are really frosting up. ty~

Joke answer: Stop breathing

Serious answer: Do you have it set to recirculate or fresh air? Also you can try turning on AC, it will pull moisture out of the air.

Haha!

Well I mostly ran recirculate. Tried fresh air briefly. The AC has been always on. I noticed that it gets better after driving for a while - 30 minutes in maybe. But before that the frosting is kinda terrible.

Try running fresh air. It may suck because the cabin will take longer to heat up as quickly, but recirculate can cause the moisture in your breath to build up and lead to frosting.

Neutron has a good point, but I find it also helps to point the little round vents at the windows.
