2015 Ford Mustang / Shelby GT350 Official - 5.2L FPC with 500+hp/400+ lb-ft
The head light and front I have to see in person but overall the var looks amazing . interior seem like a nice upgrade.

was my first thought, but the more I look at it, I see the canopy "fastback" lines in the design, and the front looks pretty nice as well

I was really looking forward to the redesign, but this really fails in my opinion. But tastes vary.
Love the very front of the car. Love the shape of the cabin. But the whole body looks like total ass. It's just a block. It's like a brick that someone slapped a cockpit bubble on top of. Way, way too Camaro-esque with the straight lines. Doesn't at all fit a Mustang in my opinion, nor Ford's incredibly attractive design language that they've used in the rest of their lineup (I know the Mustang has never matched the rest of the lineup -- usually a good thing -- but in this era, it would have done it a favor) |

I like the fast back roof line, but I think that's where it ends for me. The rear end needs to be tucked more, not pushed out like a pile of melting ice cream. The bottom of the front could be tucked in more as well. I think their designers could have done a better job. This looks like a 60% concept that needs more tweaking.

I hate the front....Taurus....Taurus everywhere .....
The current gent look ways better. It is a mustang when you see it on the road. This...I may yell..Taurus I think a lot of people will hate the new mustang....weird.... Retro is good, the rear is good, but the front is modernized from a Taurus...like a Taurus Face lift. They simply designed the rear....blend the retro and the modern look together Then they slap Taurus face on it..... Oh and this is the v8 5.0. Where are my Rear brake Vents ??? |

The front 3/4 is the best angle IMO. Just wish the hood line was lower, as it appears to come up to the driver's chin. Same with the beltline.
But really looks are secondary to me to performance. If Ford keeps its promise of delivering a 400 lbs. lighter Mustang, that will be impressive regardless of how it looks.

Yeah, it carries Ford's brand styling, which means that it looks similar to the Fusion and the Taurus. I'll go against the grain though and say I think it works well. I also think it looks like an update on this:

I don't think it looks bad. I just think it still looks big, I thought one of the goals was to shrink it? Look at the overhang

the length of the car is basically the same as before. The overall design is better proportioned, so it will look smaller in person.
I'm more interested to hear the weight. They advertised a diet, but there is some uncertainty now about that. If you can get a turbo 4 making 300whp at 3,500lb I'll be impressed. If its heavier than that, I'm disappointed. Overall I think its a good evolutionary design. I'm interesting in driving one for fun soon to see how it feels with a better suspension.
