I might still swing by to check it out, but I have had bad experiences with past Canibeat meets there. Chances are it will be broken up by police or ruined by someone who didn't get the memo.

well those who have no front plate, window tint, etc. may want to be careful. Fremont PD likes to hassle people over stuff like that...

I live right next to the Fremont PD station and have yet to get harassed about front plates.

Yeah....if they're merging it with another meet, and they're looking at over 500 cars, I think I'll pass. I know that area of Fremont, and I would much rather have been going out to the Great Mall.

You will have to get there way before 9p (like 7p) otherwise it's hard to find parking and you will have to park in the Costco parking lot - just a heads up.

If I wanted to hang out with 499 Honda Civics with a few cool cars sprinkled in I'd go. But I'm not into fart cans and tons of vinyl errywhere. Last time I went I got doubble parked by a rusty and dented EG hatch on cut springs with every possible pastic chrome peice from Pep Boys stuck on.
