Shell announced today that it has developed a 100 Octane gasoline for "piston engines". Admittedly it's been developed for aviation (most small certified aircraft use 100LL fuel now, and the LL (low lead) needs to go away).

Still, its pure gasoline with no ethanol in it. And many of the same engines above are certified to run off premium "car gas". Makes you wonder....

Eh, higher octane is just knock prevention. You're not going to make significantly more power on higher octane; slightly more aggressive timing with better knock threshold that's about it.

Personally, it makes me laugh when people say they'd never buy a car because they are common and you see them a lot. When cars are extremely popular that usually means used parts are super easy to find and aftermarket companies design more stuff for them.

Plus, Mustangs are fun to drive and they sound awesome. I've been really happy with my 2007 GT and I have an S14 for when I want to drive something lightweight.

Yeah it sucks being called a "Mustang guy" when you're actually a "car guy".

I love my S14 and the Mustang equally, and driving our FR-S is nice too

Gah, why are these Doritos Jacked chips so spicy? I mean, they taste good, but I can't enjoy like I would any other snack, stuffing my face with as many as I can because I have to take breaks to let my mouth cool down.
