Trying out v1.16 b3 stg2 ntm and otm, I prefer the feel of the old throttle map. Will be switching back to latest FA20club stg2 tune to see how it feels. I'm undecided which kool-aid I prefer, will see which feels better at the track this weekend.
I'm going to guess Visconti and FA20club. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

And yes, Borla is still garbage but people are lucky they'll endlessly replace them till their robot cranks out a good one. |

You're entitled to your opinion and so am I. I went with Visconti for my tune based on all the very positive recommendations and INFORMATION I read on this forum! It's a great tune and just because a very vocal minority on this forum hate him personally and are actively trying to dissuade all members from using him doesn't mean much to me. JV might be an asshole in person, don't know, don't care. All I care about is that I got a great tune for my money. +17WHP, +10lbs TQ and no TQ dip. ![]() As for Borla headers, mine is far from "garbage". I've seen better and worse before. The Borla UEL eliminates the TQ dip and makes good HP with a good tune. You can do a little better for a lot more money but that's usually the case with everything in this world. Why don't you try promoting your favorite tuner and header maker rather than polluting threads like this with your blind hate? I believe there is a vendor review section if you're not happy with your JV tune and Borla header, assuming you even have either... |

I've seen a lot of guys say they are happy with JV's work, but I'm pretty sure every one of them have had decent gas available to them. If someone falls under that catagory then they should be fine with JV. But for everyone else, I wouldn't let him anywhere near my car. |

Thanks for offering something more substantive than simply accusing JV of being the anti-Christ. I can't agree or disagree with your critique because I just don't have enough firsthand experience with his and others FA20 tunes. I have 93 available everywhere I go and I'll probably stick with JV until I have good reason not to. Very safe IMO since it's just a stage 2 header tune. I'd worry more about the KC and AM if I was FI. How accurate is the knock detection plug-in for Torque? I could log that but I don't have a ECUTek cable. I had my car dyno tuned at a local shop. |

Another note - torque's knock detector isn't all that accurate compared to the KC/AM values recorded by EcuTek - if you are going to continue running Johns tune I would suggest getting a cable to do some logging of your normal day to day operation, just to verify you are not having the same problems. I wanted to give John the benefit of the doubt, mostly because I spent a good deal of money with him, but hindsight being 20/20 I can't say I would use his services again, there are other better cheaper options available. YMMV. Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk |
