WTT FR-S fender vent for BRZ fender vent (white)

I have these fancy red ones. I think they're JDM, but not totally sure. If it makes a difference, I could find out. But I want to trade these for some white BRZ ones.

They are the jdm ones. I bought them at the toyota dealership in Nagoya.

The stock ones perform exactly as your 86 ones.

They do nothing at all.

They are still a solid plastic piece, unless you count non cutting into the fender

No. Still undecided on that. I did chop something off with a dremel today though. Holding off until I can post pictures. Plus I need to do some sanding. It turned out SO well though. I definitely have a unique car now.
