I looked at these ebay CF ones before I decided to go with the genuine STI set. One big thing that irked me was they didn't even show a pic of the CF pieces on a car... The kit on the car appears to be the genuine kit, or at least a non CF knockoff ...

I'll stick with the OEM STI kit. I've got 2 of 3, so why cheap out now lol!

Is it me or it's not very much like the STi style ones, the side flaps seem to be close to the CS style. I think the STi side flaps of the front lip is higher up and covers more of the sides.

For those interested in an STI front lip I've been looking into one of these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tchlink:top:en
http://www.jonmotoring.com/brz-cs-style-front-lip/ Look very much like the STI (with folded sides) but way cheaper. *sorry bout the zombie(ish) post* |

That one is a piece of crap, I know because I had one in my possession. BaysonR also sells the STi lip that looks identical to the one from Jons and is priced a little better. Although, I don't know if the quality is the same or better. http://www.ebay.com/itm/12-14-Subaru...item51b5bff03e btw Rexpeed sells all three pieces found in the first post!

I posted both the BaysonR version and the Jons version. Seems the BaysonR is ABS and the Jons is Polyurethane, was leaning towards the poly due to it's higher durability, but what makes it a piece of crap? Was it the fit, the durability, the paint/look? ![]() Yeah I posted in another thread about it awhile back. I've owned various brands of skirts and front lips, and Jons felt very cheap in comparison. The plastic is extremely flimsy in comparison to others like CS and HT Autos. I know it's cheap to buy, but you definitely get what you pay for here. HT Autos front lip is at least three times as thick in material making it a lot more durable. On a positive note, I like the design obviously and fitment was good. Just wish it was made a little better, especially where it's going to be installed. I just emailed BaysonR to confirm material used on their STi lip

Well I had a nice conversation with a man from Bayson R yesterday about their STI lip and if they plan on making a Polyurethane version. He said not right away but they may in a few months. He referred me to their CS style Poly lip but I told him I didn't like the style nearly as much as the STI and he agreed. He said he would let me know once the Poly version of their STI lip is in production but I encourage any and everyone interested in a nice STI style lip in Polyurethane to contact them and express your interest, this will give them a better idea that there is a market for the lip and will get them to start production sooner.

Yeah they just confirmed that the material used on the STi skirts and rear aprons is identical to that of the STi lip. So if your looking to match everything up, it's the same ABS plastic used.

Rexpeed may be meh on FRP parts, but their carbon fiber quality and fitment are really good. I would recommend contacting them because they give combo deals and awesome shipping prices when talking with a rep.
