-flush factory installation
-built-in phone/mic/Bluetooth connections/output from car speakers
-nothing to take with me when I leave the car or left to get stolen
-factory warranty

I won't have to worry about having someone ripping anything part to install anything, placement of the mic for the phone, customizing to fit a tablet, etc. Overall just a lot less to think about. But that's just me.
I prefer a map.

Nav or No Nav....just give me my Bluetooth audio streaming!

In reality i'll most likely stick a carputer into this sucker with a 7in touch screen. I've built three so far (for my tc and two friends). Cheaper then a head unit, more customizable, and a lot of fun setting up if you make a weekend out of it (provided there is plenty of beer on hand :happy0180:

Just give me a bobby pin, a magnet, a bottle of water with the cap, 3 toothpicks, a mirror and a magnifying glass. Also, give me the stars at night. Oh! and a loaded gun!

i will stick with factory Nav. why? cause it doesn't look that bad. i think its always better to have factory stuff in the car for resale purposes... and ultimately, i think aftermarket stuff can look dated over time.

And the smaller phone screen takes more effort to follow distracting you from driving. The extra hundreds you save using a phone is not worth sacrificing safety. As for tablet; could never justify one when I already have a laptop and smartphone plus it will take too much space mounted anywhere in the car. Lastly, I'd go with factory supplied and not a hacked JDM one. I prefer to not go through the hassle of shopping/installing aftermarket when all necessary functions are available and already installed. I used to go aftermarket to save $$$ but always find factory makes me happier in the long run.
Agreed!

I too like the clean look of factory options.

Bluetooth music streaming is what I use my current Navi the most.

I would normally agree with you, if I thought the NAV system was worth the money. From what I've read about the BeSpoke system, I'm underwhelmed. It does a lot of stuff I don't need and frankly consider a dangerous distraction, costs a lot more than I'm willing to pay, and isn't really a stand-alone NAV system but requires streaming to function.

If you go with a properly installed 2DIN full screen aftermarket NAV system, I don't think you would be able to tell the difference.
