Lol... It's a little warmer here in the Carolina's... I figure I can back up
Onto my ramps and have a go at it... I have done a few catback installs before.. But I also wasnt 60 years old.. So maybe I'm still nimble enough to wrangle a few bolts and hangars.. I wasn't going to mod this toy car... But it's sorely missing an exhaust note worthy of its looks..
I will let you know when I get it on with the muffler... Lol..
Looking forward to some elevated noise from the toy car...
Have a nice thanksgiving day!

The installation is not "hard" (only 2 bolts and 4 rubber hangars).

Having said that, I gave the installation the "old" try and found out that my old back doesn't like to work on a cold, hard, concrete floor; my tri-focal glasses don't seem to have a "focus" for the hangars; my elbows no longer seem to bend two directions at once and when I can "see" where I need to be, my arms won't go there ..... and if my arms will go there ..... I can't see what I'm doing.

Yes, I'm ah mess ....

So, I packed that pretty baby up, drove up to the auto shop, poured a cup of coffee and settled in with a car magazine. I didn't even get my cup of coffee drank or finished one article in the magazine, when they said "mr humfrz, you are good to go .... the muffler fit perfectly and it sounds great!"

Yep, $30 well spent .... off for a short drive, then a long nap ....

Yep, same here. I remember back when I was 60, I put an aftermarket muffler on my miata .... no problem, I didn't even run it up on ramps ... ..... piece of cake!

However, at 70, I opted to have it done. Which which begs the question; what happens when I am 80 .. ?? .... (oh, heck, by then ..... all cars will be electric .... so they won't have mufflers .... .)

Full circle, back to putting playing cards in the spokes and going yennnn......yennnnn .... a lot ...

hint: after you take out the two bolts and when you are injecting a slippery stuff around the rubber hangars, the old muffler will "rock" on the hangars to allow the solution to work around the rubber hangars.

Post up after your install ..... and happy turkey day to you!
