Anyone who has done this with the the supercharger in place - best way to pull them off? take off the whole supercharger from the manifold, or can we just remove the elbow on the back?
Anyone have an answer to this?

My question is, "Is there any information on the larger blower that was shown a while back from presumed gains or an eta?"

Thanks~
Note yet, but potentially spring next year.

Use a long allen (hex) L. You can get to all of the hex bolts that holds that elbow to the charger. It takes patience and you have to work a little blind on some of them but it will come out.

And ensure its magnetic, as the space is tight. Small hands work well, had to get wife to remove the bottom row.
A little mirror to see what you doing may also help.

PATIENCE PATIENCE PATIENCE is a definite.

Thanks guys. I'll take a crack at this during the weekend, after i'm stuffed full of turkey LOL.

I'd imagine putting a towel under will help in case you drop a bolt, which I am very known for.. haha.

Okay so you can't just unthread the fittings. Really wish I would have done this on the bench a few weeks ago!

I have a small ratcheting bit holder I got at harbor freight that sounds like the perfect tool for this. Use a magnetic bit holder so the screws don't fall and you're set.

Probably means unthread them while the unit is installed on the engine.

Its been proven by @sw20kosh that it can be removed while on the car, with proper tools.

Just out of curiosity would there be any benefit of a hood scoop to cool the intercooler (vs. the air/liquid intercooler) I like the simplicity of the non-intercooled kit. But if I hit the track a couple of times a year I would like to keep temps in check. Anyone have any comment on this?
