Does any of the original colour show through in places? (door sills, etc) If it did, Asphalt is a good base.

I guess what I'm asking is: would it look like hell on a World Rally Blue?

It would look just like mine. Even when a rock chips away at the vinyl it's going to hit the under part of it which is white. Even if a you really mess up a piece of vinyl you could just re-wrap that once section too.

Way too expensive for me to do, but my goodness that is one sexy beast of an 86! I love that look!

There's been an Audi R-8 around here with a chrome wrap. Flashy from a distance, and I imagine it looks good in the garage after a wash, but up close it looks like absolute shite. Having said that, I think a Chroma-Color wrap would be cool for about 15 minutes.

That does look good, though. Nice wheels. "Taste", you haz it.

ETA: That "brushed gunmetal" wrap looks interesting....

The wrap looks great, but the matte black roof takes away from it IMO. Should've wrapped the roof too.
