Scratched the brakes with the wheel barrels themselves when mounting. Oops. Vanity costs you...

Took summers off and filled them with air and mounted summers but tpms light is still going off. Was hoping filled summers 6 feet away would work but looks like a sensor could be dead. We'll find out in March.

cold roads, cold tires, low tread, its like driving on a slip n' slide! Im going to hold off on on the winter tires for awhile longer, this is too much fun! I went through the ez-pass toll booth angled and got some construction guys in a truck to laugh and drop some thumbs up.

And idk why there's slip and slide beyond your right foot....not a bit of it last night/this morning. Normal commute so far. TPMS light even stayed off, musta been a fluke.

Tonight may be a different story lol

The Montego Blue paint, red Miata badge on the back, passenger air bag, and style of the cloth seats all scream that it's a '94-'97 1.8L car. But the only '94 car to come in Montego blue was the M Edition, which this is clearly not.

The big clincher for the '97 model year is the radio surround. In every previous Miata (and in '97 models with the factory CD player) the radio open was not DIN or double DIN sized. It was an odd ball size to deter thieves from stealing the radio. In '97 Mazda swapped it a Double DIN size. That way when you install an aftermarket CD player the radio and the bezel actually fit in the opening properly, which doesn't happen on the earlier cars.

So owners of the 1.8L cars can just order the radio surround from a '97 Miata with no CD player to get a proper fit. Those of us with 1.6L cars have to order a radio surround from Japan (they didn't get passenger airbags until the NB, so that radio surround is the only one that will work for us).

Miata lesson complete.

All this Miata talk is making me miss my '92 B-package.

Note to self: do not pack Kindle Fire into lunch box that contains soup in "sealed" container. Container will unseal itself and turn Kindle Fire into Kindle Soup.

I wish I had some winters lined up, but I'm stuck with the stock
for the season. Learning car control is good, but insanely scary at
the same time.

Nannies do a pretty good job. Light foot + nannies keeps you out of most trouble.

Hopefully is a mild Winter! Do you have the Primacies or the Bridgestones as stock?
