i'm sure people will pay MSRP for a slightly used one, if the alternative is not having one due to low supply :P |

^ Oh dear, good luck with that.
This isn't an Aston or a GT3 RS... it's a Scion/Subaru :-s How you reckon on getting back the taxes and fees? |

that worked when scion was new and everybody wanted to have an xb but i cant see that working when a subaru dealer can give you the same car. also do you realize how much tax you would pay on a 25000 car? or registration? you are describing a couple month lease for like 5k which sounds like a bad deal

I broke down and got my deposit back this week. I NEED a new car to dd. I kept looking at the FRS/BRZ and finally came to the conclusion that IF I'm going to buy a brand new car, I'm going to want leather, heated seats, etc, since I'd be driving it a lot, might as well be comfortable. Thinking about what a loaded BRZ would run made me look at other, similarly priced options. In Atlanta you can get a 2012 Mustang GT for $25,500, or a GT Premium for $29,900 with 0% financing. That kind of deal is starting to look REALLY good.

Actually with low supply and high demand it can. I know people who bought and sold first year coopers for a good profit.

After some thinking I realised that after the new car smell fades away and the hype settles down as it becomes another car on the streets, you'll realise you could have bought a equal/better car for much less...Especially if you're coming from a better/equal car that's just older than the GT86...
In the end it's just a RWD coupe with 200hp... Coming to think of it, I'd rather buy the original AE86 for fun if I don't care for power...Or a Miata...A Supra maybe? MR2 Turbo ? MR-S ? Lotus Elise S1 ? Silvia S15 ? If you do your math, no matter what hidden costs an older car may have, it probably won't be as much as the difference in purchasing price from a used to a spanking new car... But I'd buy a new WRX STI ![]() Plus you guys got all the muscle cars available for really cheap, I don't get why this car attracts you so much ?
