OP I suggest adding 'how much coverage // what's your deductible' - this can put your insurance price all over the place.

$1900 annually + $500 for 2 year replacement insurance that i paid up front
ICBC
Whiteout
30 yrs old
married
$1000 collision deductible, $2 million liability and $500 theft/break in deductible (or was it $300? i can't remember)

i had one speeding ticket when i was 17 so that has not effected my insurance rate

i got hit on the side 2 years ago in an intersection running a stale yellow that i thought was a fresh one (i looked away for a couple seconds) and got blamed for the accident.. it wasn't worth fighting ICBC because the full cost in the end was $1700 out of my pocket; $1000 deductible and $700 spread out over 3 years in my insurance rates and i'm sure a lawyer would have cost me a lot more

next annual renewal should only cost me approx $1700 though.. horray!

Find a new company. Seriously
Sounds a lot like me. I guess the price diff must be due to geographic location.
