Going to try this route this weekend maybe. I've also heard 60 is a fun route to take.

So today I heard and smelled a faint exhaust leak. Found out the header to overpipe gasket failed.
![]() The leaking gases were pointed right at the plastic splash shield and plastic rivets securing it to the skid plate. Melted through one rivet and got that mini heat shield a little toasty. ![]() ![]() The gasket that failed came from PLM with their OP. ![]() Replaced it with the graphite gasket from JDL that came with the header. Hope it holds up better. My fuel trims are probably jacked up now so I'll reflash my latest tune revision tomorrow and start over with some fresh logs. |

Impressive that you could smell it and find the exhaust leak.

The melting plastic smell was very obvious a day or two earlier. The exhaust smell was evident when I knelt down next to the FR wheel and I could barely hear it puttering out of the failed gasket. The front/overpipe area is slightly exposed in the wheel well and after idling in the garage for a minute then opening the hood it was like Beijing.

This was my Xbox 360/Forza 4 rig. ![]() That's all been sold for next gen stuff since the Fanatec gear isn't forward compatible, unfortunately. Can't wait for DriveClub early next year and GT7 in the distant future

I drive Forza 5 for fun as it is a game after all. I still own a brand new Xbox360 Steering wheel that I never used on Forza 4. I will stick with a controller. I started with a BRZ last night. My last run of the night was the Audi R18 ETron around Road Atlanta. I hate that the game shipped with only 14 tracks. I can't wait for GT7 in 2020 as well.

As for me, I'm going to be racing on my PS3, not PS4. GT6, baby!
My PS4 won't be used for racing until Drive Club proves it's a good game that's better than GT6, or until GT7.
