First service milestone
Just about time for an oil change. Where do you guys go? Mr. Lube, Ogilvies, ... Seems that the 10K service including checking suspension, etc could be done in the driveway. What does the service run at Subaru?

LMFAO
Sadly. I only had 1 free oil change. I think the states were giving out 4.
CHEZ Andre's is located in Slicks garage. Somewhere in deep, deep Orleans. LOL |

Yup, my garage, lol.
I try to not bring my car to the dealer unless I really need to. 35K now and I have only been to the dealer once for my first free oilchange. Pretty sure my car was used for a coffee run that day too. F'ers... My experiences at the Mr.Lube and Oil Changer places are not great. Somehow they don't know how to not spill oil on your engine even though that is probably key to a good service and they should have all the right tools to be able to do that easily.

Ive done 2 oil changes, both at the dealer.
after a bad experience at Oil Changers a couple years ago I dont trust them, and for the small about of $$ I might save its just not worth it. |

I'm like KingGeo. For the extra couple of bucks, going to the dealer does give some peace of mind because if they screw something up they are likely to be pro-active in fixing it.
On a related note, anyone here, especially the track guys, changed out their transmission fluid yet? |

Is did my trans fluid with redline GL-4 and the diff with GL-5. Diff magnet was fuzzy, trans was fine. Car had 8000-ish km on it when I did it.

I'm already 2 oil changes in although I just did one to put clean oil in it for winter!. That mogul 300v looked really good when I drained it too. A little dark so I'm not sure if I'll do 2 changes next summer with it or just begining of season and end again. No free oil changes for me haha

Anybody here from the Gatineau side of the border?
I'm looking into getting an FRS/BRZ, but I'm not sure if I should be doing it on the Quebec or Ontario side, or if there's even any difference?
