I'm thinking more along the lines of 991 Carrera 4S/Turbo territory, 120-130k is probably the neighborhood the NSX will push for the whole (exotica & exclusivity factor)
I think this is just flat out terrible news. These great sports cars which once were affordable are being priced astronomically out of most of our range.

I want to see a return of the affordable NSX.

Honda has stated that the New NSX will be around half the price of a Ferrari 458

so $115k-$120k i'm betting

In 1991, NSX went for $60,000/$64,000 (manual/auto), equivalent to about $103,000/$110,000 in 2013 dollars. Not really that far off from what they are asking today...

http://www.dollartimes.com/inflation...0000&year=1991

In fact, many dealers, realizing the value of the car, were commanding $90,000 to $100,000 tags due to its demand (about $175,000 in 2013 dollars). Sure, they're cheaper now (you can get a used one for about $30,000 to $40,000), but those ones are around 20 years old now.

Still, can't go wrong with a 270 HP, 2,900 lb. racing machine.

Actually clean ones are appreciating in value. They're worth about $50k right now in value if well taken care of and clean, and only going up.

Over $100k for a Honda ANYTHING is way too much. I'm still mad at Nissan from taking the R-series GT-R's from Evo/STI territory to "out of our league" territory with the R-35 GT-R.

If only they'd have imported the R-32 through R-34 GT-R's...

Look like an R8 to me, and I prefer V8 sounds from the 2015 Mustang

I'd be a homeless man living inside his R-34 park outside of Royal Farms

That sounded like ~8000rpm going by (taking Doppler effect into account), good to see they didn't pull a BMW with the turbos. This could easily be a 500hp engine

Agree. I think we'll see ~480 PS 2.7 V6 with redline above 8K RPM.

Am I the only one who thinks that the NSX will never be for sale to the public and Honda has completely forsaken enthusiasts?

Hmm.. Maybe it's just me.

I'm sure this will be the best and fastest supercar on the market, proof of its potential is the 918 Spyder, which holds the lap record for a road going car.

Just think of Hybrid, Turbo, AWD, and AWS? Nothing can be faster. More, nothing will have better mileage.

So happy to se the Japanese back to the game in a new era. Nissan GT-R Nismo with a time of 7:08 min on the N-Ring, new NSX, new Civic Type-R with a time under 8:00 min on the Ring, new WRX, new RC, coming Supra,....can't wait for all this. Good times ahead.
Nothing can pay for the car also...j/k.

The only car company that Masterfully deliver Torque to the wheels efficiently is Nissan on their GT-R. I am very curious to see this car Lap time. But I doubt it beats the GT-T. Very...Very much
