I don't think it's too retro. I mean Here in Tulsa, there's current gen Camaros, challengers and Mustangs for days. People here adore the retro look. as I said before all Nissan needs to do is clean it up for production and the buys will eat it up.

I actually like the concept. But at the same time Nissan has some ugly looking sports cars. So my question is do y'all think Nissan can pull this off with the IDx FreeFlow?
The 370Z is pretty ugly and odd looking. The BladeGlider is just hideous.

I remember Nissan VC stated "FT-86 is for the Midlife-crisis"
If these are what they are bringing to the market...these are for the Hideous. Perfect fit for a Mc Donald Clown, or any Clowns Nissan, you have not failed before right ? Even Honda fail, and this will be your beginning. I will never buy any of those Hideous looking things on wheels, for a few grands, let alone competing to the 86...Are you Sane ? |

Too boxy for my tastes, plus it doesn't come in a manual transmission. If the S-Chassis (S16) comes into production, then I'd perhaps consider it.

Looked like more electronic gizmos in the seats too. Subtracting lightness.
Is that Nalgene bottle on the center console of the nismo supposed to be an espresso or NOS drink dispenser?

If nissan made a S16, it'd definitely be at or above the 86 price point, therein which would eat into 370z territory. This move is a corporate response to the success of the twins packaged into a retro package to invoke nostalgia among nissan hopefuls. (in my opinion) |
