Well, I contacted my dealer. They're at least awesome and my service adviser is too. She told me to bring it back in. Time to play the multi-pump game?

Let us know how it goes. I'm still waiting to see if this new pump is going to fix it or not. I don't feel like driving an hour to the dealership for a useless pump.

Dealership is supposed to get back to me this week to let me know if Toyota is going to pay for a 2nd replacement. I don't know how they wouldn't if the product is clearly defective....
Dealership said there is a new part, we are going to try it out. So far the dealership has been really decent and very good to work with. Adam out of Treasure Coast Toyota in Stuart has been great.

I've got a before and after crickets on the two pumps. The first one is more rapid, higher pitched. This pump is slower paced, deeper crickets, but just as loud. No change with my idle or anything. My engine runs great otherwise.

I'll post the vids when I get home to show a comparison. My car is going back to Scion today.

Matt -

What are they going to do for you at this point? Same HPFP Part # again? New TSB is on the way (Rev. 2B or such).

The shop foreman is meeting with Toyota in the morning about it. Apparently mine is the "first reported" case on the new fuel pump since the TSB. They'll probably end up ordering another one, but they are trying to find the root cause for this one because it "should" have been the fix since it's a completely different part. I currently have a 2013 Toyota Camry... whoopdeedo.

My videos are uploading. I will show you my first fuel pump chirp and the second one to compare. Glad I recorded videos because it didn't chirp at the dealership when I let it sit for 20 minutes then started it up again. Talk about piss you off. Always go in prepared!

Chirping Fuel Pump from 2012, purchased my car November 30th.

Chirping fuel pump from Oct. 17th, 2013 TSB, SU003-05176 is the new part number:

You can hear the pitch difference from the first to the second. They are also investigating to make sure I actually got the right pump and the wrong one was not installed with a previous one. Either way, I'm glad they're diving into it and I gave them all the information I could from the forums here. They are at least not oblivious to it at all. I'll keep you guys updated while I cruise around with my "Eco" light on my 2013 Camry.

I have no idea what to even believe anymore with them. This is on Shell 93 octane with "may contain up to 10% ethanol". I know it's not the ethanol content because I'm over a quarter through this tank.

And yes, for anyone reading this just now, it is on the new fuel pump from Oct 17th, 2013.
I noticed sort of the same: In summer with lower that average temps (about 70f) it didn't chirp. Now in late fall it chirps all the time even at 50f. Humidity? Crappy gas ?
