Thanks again for your enthusiasm for for the product, as a little teaser we have a few other neat toys in the pipeline for the turbo guys.

Hey Tom, have you installed it? how long did it take? did you remove the charger from the intake manifold or removed the whole thing?

I've just established I have a leak as CEL PO0171 came up 3 times. Battled to ascertain where the leak was coming from, until I was advised to check the 2 grey L connectors that screw into the rear of the charger.
There seems to be air escaping through the thread of the plastic L piece.
The irritating thing is you can't remove and replace with Teflon tape without removing the entire manifold.
Recommend before installing remove the 2 L connectors apply Teflon and ensure tight before you do installation, as a prevention. The pipes that go on are extremely tight to get on so the locktite from factory comes loose and hence creates a leak.
So far I picked up following issues with hardware
Bosch MAP sensor is terrible with this kit
Pin missing from map harness
Incorrectly wired map harness
Leaking L connectors

I'm a little pissed with what I have gone through with the Spritex kit.

You can take that intake plenum off without removing anything else. You dont have to remove the blower nor the manifold. I did it to tighten those elbows. You will have to work blind on some of those allen bolts with an allen wrench so it takes patience. I applied Amazing Goop thread sealer to them and tightened them 1 extra turn than they came initially.

The interesting thing is my leak was not those elbows (even though they were clearly loose). The leak was at the rear laminova fluid nipple. The retaining bracket/clip was not bolted in on one side thus tilting that nipple to one side a bit allowing air to enter/escape.

Please can you post a pic, so I can verify while I'm repairing

I've had 3 months of hell with this kit, to the degree I wish I never bought it.
Hopefully once I ensure all is tightened with Teflon, it works.
Will certainly lodge a complaint with Sprintex when I'm done, cost me a lot of money try to sort this out.

My entire install has been done by my dealership. The mechanic has stripped a 86 motor before and fitted SC.
Bosch map sensor was first issue, did not pick up CEL car would not idle
Once the stock map sensor fitted CEL indicate MAP faulty, picked up a pin missing from the map harness, removed the harness.
Car started running, installed FA20 tune and Could not get car to run after a week of trying.
Sprintex requested I take the throttle harness and map harness off and verify color wires matched, try nuts the wiring mixed. Replaced harness.
While all the above was happening, I was told my tuner and installer was the issue, I then out to prove it was not I paid for Delicious Tune.
Bill connected up on first log, found issue which we fixed and second log found I have leak.
So in no way have I done this install on my own.
Hardware issues have caused problem after problem.

Hopefully after we reinstall tomorrow I'm finally up and running properly.

It's worth mentioning that Ryan86 has a Sprintex kit, not an Innovate kit, and I assume he is receiving Sprintex support, not Innovate support.

Sorry you have run into issues. It is the nature of aftermarket forced induction unfortunately. We are adding non oem complexity to a complex motor + complex ecu. Turbo kits are even more complex!

What exactly did you want a picture of?

That is correct, we get in direct from Sprintex.

However my problems should be noted by you guys as Innovate is supplied by Sprintex??? So I'm merely pointing out to double check these items before installing
As much as I'm pissed, it's part of modifying a car I do realise.

See the big nipple for the intercooler coolant? There is a retaining clip that puts pressure on that nipple so it stays put. The retaining clip is secured by two allen bolts. One of mine had backed out and so the retaining clip was not putting even pressure on the nipple.
