So happy you've decided to keep your car, and those amazing wheels!

Yeah a pretty boring race. I stopped watching before the end because it was pretty obvious from the start who was going to win.

The most interesting thing to come out of this year's grand prix is a video I just watched from Jay leno's garage where he goes behind the scenes at McLaren at COTA. Check it out if you haven't, interesting stuff.

I think I passed an STI on the track ... it was so slow in the corners.

I love the STi. But it's still an economy car with go fast bits attached. It's not a sports car.

Ummm its turbo'd, can go autox AND rallyx, has tons more space...wait...that's not helping. I'm afraid you are barking at wrong tree here. Maybe try posting at the Suzie Orman forums. Looking at my bank account usually sets me straight lol

Hmm will that make my car a 4-door sedan with 300hp? Hehe

Alright, getting closer, I do love track days, but with a few suspension bits the Sti will be comparable.. right? No? It will still be an understeering pig? Ok.

True, but there's something nice about that. Having 4 doors and AWD would be nice sometimes.

True, but I expected a bit more from you guys.. this isn't the WSTI forums! I'm still waiting on those negatives to come from someone...

"Never been tracked or launched, adult driven it's entire life". Suuuure...

I'm looking at 06/07 with around 65k miles or so. A wagon.. hmm that would be nice too haha. Which year is the one with (more than usual) ringland failures?

I believe 07s were the worst (and the 08s had ecu issues, but different gen there)

Just know the STI seats suck. Like they really suck. And your radiator will blow at 100k mi. Plus, they go through oil. About a quart a change until you find the right one. I used german castrol and loved it. Try other stuff, but dear go avoid mobile 1. An sti drinks it non stop. Haha

Overall they are solid cars. Cheap HP from a Cobb AP and turboback exhaust. But they understeer and are not as much fun as the FRS (at least for my skill level). I dont regret selling mine. Only looking at a wagon as a 2nd car and i need awd for the snow. Otherwise i was looking at mr2 spyders for crystal or an ae86 for me. Lol

Oh, and it will make your brz seem like a bmw or lexus with the amount of tin can like rattlibg sounds you get with an sti. How can doors sound that thin/cheap on a car that weighs that freakin much is beyond me
