That's probably one of my favorite sounding cars of all time.
While we're posting awesome sounding V10s, here's a couple more (skip to 4:15 in the second vid): [ame]http://youtu.be/lpB1yR9Sz9Y[/ame] [ame]http://youtu.be/k85JWFnZcKU[/ame] Last edited by chrisl; 11-18-2013 at 04:18 PM. |

Honda minivan recently tried to beat me from a stoplight to where 2 lanes merge into 1 a few hundred yards later. He damn near did it too. I started shopping superchargers as soon as I got home.....

Is it really that painful to just let someone else get to the merge first? A dump truck or semi I definitely would not want in front of me after a merge to a one land road, but typical cars and minivans move along pretty quickly.

A Tiburon?! LOL. "Try" is the operative word there. Civic Si power is at least comparable and in some publications, is 0.1 sec faster in the 0-60. Plus innumerable Civics are modified to some degree or another, so, you never know what they are packing.

Come to Cali, where soccer moms in their boat-sized SUVs think they are entitled to cruise at whatever comfortable speed they please, regardless of the traffic behind... unless you try to pass them, of course

It's always fun to see someone in a Celica or Integra or something like that, they are either going 80+ (lots get pulled over) or their ears are bleeding from the engine spinning too fast and going slow like me. |

I played with a lowered Mercedes the other night on the highway. pulled up next to me, revved a couple times then tried to block me passing a semi (and failed), when I went back to the right lane he took off. When he went over a bridge I was sparks and he pulled over for check for damage. New York roads...dont ever lower your car. Laughted and beeped as I passed.

Blue Interga (4th gen?) pacing me on the street on the way home side by side. I ignore him. I get in the left turn lane and he comes all the way across and pulls up next to me. We both start the turn and he gets into the gas. I floor it and put 6 car lengths or more on him. Pwn'd.

A few weeks ago, I had a three series BMW with two guys trying to screw with my car (getting up on the side real close, cutting me off, slamming on their brakes, etc.) and follow me for a good 10 miles. It was around midnight, and I'm a younger female living in a somewhat rough area. I was genuinely creeped out, and I didn't want them to follow me home. Thankfully, I lost them on a sweeper exit.
I normally get attention from Honda ricers, who end up racing themselves into the sunset. But that was a-whole-nother level of creepy.

And if I keep the revs up, I can still do so in the BRZ. The key to safety against numbskulls on the road: be in front of them so you don't accidentally end up as part of the collateral damage when they do wreck.
