A general question would it be possible to set fans on full speed all the time ? That's something a very popular tuning shop used to do with with cars ( AMGs and Ms) he would always set the fans on.

So could it be done through ecutek ?

My FB turbo kit is going in next week hopefully, and I'm considering using higher quality fans and not bothering with the FB supplied fans.

we have hundreds of fans out there between this platform and others. The chance of 4 fans not working on 1 car is very slim.

Carlos, please give us a call tomorrow and I will walk you through the trouble shooting process. I pmd you my cell

My tuner recommended fans made by Spal.

I'm also going with the Robispec radiator/oil cooler, so not sure how important the fans will be with the larger radiator.

On my previous cars, a fan always went on with the AC, but the other fan that goes on when the car gets hot only went on on the very hottest days and only when stuck in traffic, but my BRZ is new to me and the added heat from the turbo may make that very different.

I was wondering too if there was room between the intercooler and AC condensor to install the fans in front, behind the intercooler, pushing air in instead of pulling air?

Or one in front pushing, and one behind pulling?

Pusher fans aren't as efficient as pullers, there also isn't much room to fit anything with a decent cfm rating up there anyway.

What I wonder about is, without something like a vented hood, as sealed up as the engine bay is, how much air is getting across the radiator and AC condenser?

I know for the engine bay that the "intake" hole (front grill) is much much larger than the "exhaust" hole without some kind of venting.

This means most of the air that goes into the grill just stops, and so I wonder, even if the pushing fans aren't as efficient, they might be pushing more cool air over the radiator and AC condenser than if they were behind the radiator, pulling the air through.

Also, I thought that maybe if at least one fan were pushing, mounted onto the AC condenser, that the AC might perform better?
