Wasn't even an option in 2002! But yes, no one wants a port installed SPT boost gauge when every modern car has it as part of the center stack/gauge cluster. That's what I was referring to.

Living at a high elevation where it gets cold in the winters with some snow, I was contemplating trading the BRZ for a 2015 WRX STI...if it was badass. Time for some winter all season tires.

Safe to say, the new WRX looks like trash. Did they take two different cars and connect them at the quarter panel?

Side note, looks like the FA20 is going to be the foundation of engines for Subaru, which make our car special; first to have it.

I wouldn't trust that boost measurement unless the ecu was reading pressure from the vacuum line, personally. I don't like extrapolated data when the real thing is easily measured. But that's just me.

IIRC, the new Imprezas will have the FB motor in them, which is NOT DI.

The BRZ's appeal just skyrocketed higher.

Looking forward to see the new STI and the 2nd Generation FRS/BRZ.

I am leaning towards the updated FRS/BRZ as my future purchase.

But that interior from the WRX magazine photos look really nice.

The car has only been out a little more than a year and people are already waiting for the second generation... It is funny how only a couple years ago everyone was waiting for the first generation to just come out ...

I've been around long enough to know the trend. 2002 WRX came out, everyone hated it and then loved it. Blah blah blah, same old story. But it is tough to look at this one and then look in the garage at the slender, sleek BRZ body and not have a thought that this one is......well cosmetically challenged let's say and may be quite a bit more difficult to win over people.

That actually looks a lot better than the concept shots above. Is that a small spoiler, or does the trunk flare up to give that impression? I have to say, I'll definitely be test driving a '15 WRX when they come out, though I've still got my fingers crossed for a '16 or '17 WRX or STi hatch (or similar) to replace my current Outback when it hits 200k or so. A sedan just doesn't have enough room to replace what I use my Outback for, so if there isn't a hatch, sadly, I won't be buying

Something about those baby tail lights doesn't look as appealing as the years before it... although that new front is gorgeous

That booty kind of looks like my old 08 civic

That is a decklid spoiler. I only had about 3 minutes with the car cause I was in a rush, otherwise I would've taken more photos. I don't know how I feel about the decklid though..
