You have two options. The first is a little risky since it notifies any would-be intruders that you're not home, but I have left notes on my door before for Fedex or UPS with my signature stating to leave the package at "X location." They take the signed paper, I don't have to be there.
The alternative is if it's being shipped UPS and you have a local UPS Customer Center, you can call them and ask to hold your package so you can pick it up. Alternatively, if you don't have one, here are instructions on how to get it shipped for free to your local UPS Store.

Where those steering wheels for the PS2 or PS3? How do they differ or which would you say is better. Do they always come with a clutch pedal too?

Looks like a Driving Force and a Driving Force Pro. If I remember correctly, PS1 and PS2 respectively, because I had the original as well.

No, they do not have clutch pedals, and if you are serious about a wheel for a Playstation system I would go no less than a G27 wheel from Logitech. You have other options from Fanatec and Thrustmaster, but they go up in price from there.

Ran into another problem though. I ordered through Target.com and my order there is fine. Says it has started the shipping process. But I used paypal and there when I look at my transactions the one for the PS4 says expired. Last I checked before this it was pending. I haven't had a chance to make any calls yet but I'm worried my order will be canceled, which would suck.

Ok, my XBOX 360 died this weekend...it was about 5-6 years old...

I was gonna wait a while on getting a next-gen system...but now I feel my hand is forced.

There is basically a few games I like. Forza and Dark Souls.

There are like 2 games I am interested in for the future. Dark Souls 2 and either new Gran Turismo or the new Forza.

Now I know neither an XBox1 or a PS4 is backwards compatible. BUT the PS4 has "legacy games".

I am unsure what I should do...

Get a PS4 (because I am tired of Microsoft and the fact they remind me of Dolph Lundrgen in Rocky 4).

OR...

Get an XBox360 for cheap in the next week or so (thinking they will be cheap due to new systems coming out?

Any suggestions?

If you like Forza, you can already have the new hotness with an Xbox One. If that isn't important to you, I would honestly say wait and get yourself another 360. They're like 200 new now I think? So you can probably pick up a used one soon for half of that, maybe 60-70%.
Then you give yourself a year or so to see what comes out on both systems and see what you like.

I sent paypal an email regarding it since I'm at work still. Ill try calling them as soon as i get home. It's mainly the status I'm concerned about since it is neither pending or cancelled. Either way ill wait it out and see what happens. I read that est buy would cancel the order and then reinstate it followed by an email. Im kind of hoping target will do the same. Though i doubt it. If it ends up canceled so be it, as long as I'm not charged. I can try again after the hype dies down some.

Yeah, the DF and DFP are extremely old. I got the DF when GT3 came out and the DFP with GT4. Always wanted to get a G25 (later a G27), but it wasn't compatible with XBOX, and GT5 was taking its sweet damn time being released (which ended up sucking anyway). Haven't really looked at wheels since then because my new place doesn't really have the accommodations for one anymore. Additionally, I got extremely good at playing racing games on the 360 controller because the layout and design lends itself to it significantly better than any Playstation controller. I took a look at the Fanatec ones recently and they look amazing, and the price is not bad at all, considering I paid something like $250-300 for the DFP when it first came out. If I had a place to put one, I'd get it for Forza and F1.

Buy a collapsible stand and store it under the couch. Keep the wheel in a closet somewhere. Or, bonus, get yourself an ottoman that doubles as a storage bin. Keeps my wife happy. Out of sight, out of mind.

Haven't found anything solid and sturdy. I fling my wheels as if they were real, and at least the DF/DFP put up heavy resistance to quick movements (and would wobble or lift most stands significantly). I also don't like the upright sitting position that you would have from a regular chair. Makes me feel like I'm driving a minivan or something. My old rig was a frame and stand I built with the passenger's seat out of my old Eagle Talon TSi AWD bolted onto 2x4s. My setup was ugly as sin, but felt like I was driving a race car. I get a similar driving position in the FR-S.
