Decent Turnout last night for Sim Racing

We had a few FR-S guys on there last night.
  • WantFRS (Play41060)
  • 86GT? (TricKobc)
  • Saw Kenny UMBFRS online but not in the lounge (tadpol)
Some of the other guys were from MR (Midnight Runs), about 5 others.
We'll continue on next week.

Any suggestions?
I think some guys got stuck with some bad cars with shuffle racing, some are not easy to drive at all. Old Moostang, 63 Vette, Range Rovers, someone got a Dodge pickup for one race.

I'll probably start with higher shuffle racing (start at 420-440) and do a few shuffle races ending at 500pp and then go to spec racing. The last race we did was with the Toms Supra on race tires, it was pretty fun.

Thanks for hosting the race. Unfortunately I had to bow out at 9 but it was a great fun. I had the fortune to drive both the RAm hemi truck and 63 vette in two races. That as fun trying to keep up with the leaders in that huge truck.

Lol ya that was entertaining for sure. I like the luck of the draw just sucked when my crappy muscle car maxed out at 108mph in 4th and everyone whent buzzing by me! Haha sorry about the bumps slick I haven't played in almost a year so I was a bit rusty!

I'll try to join next week. I have my G27 wheel setup next to my PC and have to get a PS3 component adapter to display on my old Dell LCD (which has no HDMI input). My PS3 username is kankudai.

No problem with the bumps, everyone was doing it. We'll clean it up as we go.

Just no starting the race on us again.. lol.

Honking allowed? I think I accidentally honked many times during cornering.....

BTW, +1 on the shuffle cars. That levels the play field for people who knows nothing about tuning a car...

I distinctively remember in the Tsukuba circuit I was battling with a R32 (AMC_MEGA) in my Legacy Spec B when I tried turning at the hairpin before the last straight I kept honking at the R32 for no reason. I need to change the setting on my controller...

That was my only chance to be competitive in the front with a reasonable car in the pack. Otherwise I am stuck in the middle trying to catch up.

Ah, must've been someone else. Think it was before 8pm. Was still funny, wish my headset had been working

I'm planning on the following mods next year:
  • 245/40-R17 tires for the RPF1 rims I bought (Hankook RS3 or BFG Rival)
  • Oil cooler (DIY using 2014 Forrester parts)
  • Radium catch can (I've read they are coming out with an FR-S/BRZ specific application)
  • Maybe an Innovate supercharger with intercooler - I'll wait till it's been out a while and there are more reviews (i.e., reliability when used for lapping)
Uh-oh....
