This stuff is awesome. 180GPa bulk modulus, up to 2300MPa yield strength for grade 350, 760MPa fatigue limit. By comparison 300M/high silicon 4340 is a wimpy 150GPa bulk modulus, 1200MPa yield strength, 600MPa fatigue limit (supposedly there exists a version with 800MPa fatigue limit but I haven't seen it) I found a paper from 2000 that said the fatigue strength can be increased further by tweaking the composition a little. Unfortunately it costs more than titanium
Maraging steel is old. Can't remember what they are off the top of my head, but it has some specific limitations beyond just cost.

How to jump start a McLaren 12C.

How about jump starting a McLaren 12C if the battery dies? Electronic trunks, electronic doors, what to do? A guide:

1) reach your hand in the driver's side scoop, all the way in the back.

2) stick your finger in the hole back there, and bend back that panel. You will need to bend approximately 90 degrees, 15 degrees or so past where you're sure this panel will snap in half.

3) Take the key apart, there is a 1" key inside the fob

4) there is a key hole underneath the panel you just removed, stick it in there.

5) press down on the door, hard, and turn the key. The door will pop up. When the battery dies, the last thing that's supposed to happen is the windows will drop down a bit, so you can open the door this way without power. If the windows don't drop down, the window will explode when you open the door. Ask which one happened to me.

5) Now that you've gotten the door open and there is glass all over the place, vaccuum up the glass, then open the trunk with the handle in the footwell

6) Remove all the plastic trim in the trunk area.

7) With a power screwdriver, remove 18 screws holding the trunk carpeting in place around the perimiter of the trunk

8) Remove the weatherstripping, and the trunk carpeting

9) Underneath the carpeting, you find the battery. Connect the booster box to the battery.

10) Start the car. You must leave the car running with the booster box still connected for at least 10 minutes or the car will not run. You're going to want to have a topped-off booster box for this.

11) Reassemble the entire trunk, asking yourself the whole time why you didn't just buy a Porsche in the first place.

-The smoking tire.

Sadly this isn't my first. I even lost a good amount on the others too but I let myself act like a girl and bought the car on emotion/impulse.
I accept I'll take a loss but good god the dealer is trying to ram it with extra dryness.
