don't know much about spacers only heard how they negatively affect handling, why would you recommend them?

Cause the offsets they made these in..

With as you state lowering an inch and the camber it will goto the wheel is going to be tucked in a solid near inch and look sucked in. If this doesent bother you then you're good to go. Front won't be too bad if you're -.5 to -1.3 camber but backs to be flush for sure gonna need spacers to have flush look.

What are the cons of running spacers? And what brand would you recommend?

That's a loaded question I haven't used any on "this car" but the obvious importance is weight and quality. B2 Design a vendor here makes some nice ones for these cars.

Nope based on sizes and offsets I think they were strictly looking at stock and stock height and nothing else. Disappointing for sure, these are workable with spacers and such but ya I agree 100%, sucks these makers don't actually look or listen much.

SSR does this all the time. Come in the market conservatively and find out they aren't selling as much as they expect it. Having to be shout at daily from distributors asking to order more aggressive sizing for so and so PCD till they decide to make a limited run of that particular size. Then after 1-2 years of constant request is before they make it an official size. SSR plays it too safe which is why VOLKS, Advans, and WORK wheels sell more wheels than SSR due to initial popular sizes that the market wants.

Such a bummer, I love the V01-- looks similar to the Type-C. I'll wait till they have more reasonable 17" widths and offsets.
