Lol I can't seem to find where it started from, which was giving me a headache. But I am a pre-med student so I am always interested in medical related discussions.

Oh it started a few months ago and just sort of resurfaces every now and then. I don't even remember what originally brought it up, but long story short: I never really knew what I wanted to do, had a few orthopedic surgeries (BMX + sport bike = sad panda of a skeletal system) and realized that seems pretty appealing, so at the age of 27, I spontaneously decided I should start pursuing that. Still haven't really gotten started, so I'm a long way from knowing whether it's really for me or not, but I'm working on it.

Oh i actually met a dentist on this forum last month and he told me that he went back to school at the age of 24 to pursue his dream of being a dentist. He is now successful and happy with his decision. Hope that gave you some inspiration.

That does help. At first I was very bothered by my old age of... 27... but then I talked to several doctors after realizing I was interested, and every one of them said I could take my bad attitude about starting "late" and shove it. Everyone says to just take your time and try to minimize stress. So that's what I plan to do.

Yeah there are actually many stories online about people who are over 30 and pursuing their dreams of becoming a doctor. To me, age is just a number and learning is an endless process that does not have age limit.

With that being said, I am going to sleep because I got class tomorrow ;(
