Looks very bland and disproportionate. It feels like the front doesn't go with the rest of the body. Its what happens when you try to turn the impreza into the wrx concept. You can only change the shape so much.

My problem is no matter how many scoops and vents you put on the aggressive front end the rest of the car still looks too much like a base Impreza. IMHO the current gen Impreza is the worst looking version ever; and since they didn't completely divorce the WRX from the Impreza, like the rumors suggested, the WRX was aesthetically doomed from the start.

AND NO HATCH? WTF, FU SUBARU

Not a fan. The side profile looks just like a 2013 Civic sedan. I'm curious to see what the hatch will look like, if there is one.

95% of cars get uglier and uglier with each new model.

Bring these back and simply update them to make them more modern and pass current safety requirements. Done.

Seriously, it isn't rocket science...

Those spy shots are from the Nurburgring. Although some folks dislike this, I think it's a good thing. Not looking for an argument here.

Epic FAIL!! Fuck you, Subaru, for getting our hopes up with that sex-on-wheels concept and then snatching it all away with this pile of crap. This is what you need to do: First, throw any and all copies of this production version off of a very high cliff. Then start over with the BRZ platform, stretch it to fit AWD and 4 doors, put a nice 350+ hp turbo version of the FA20 under the hood, and price it around $40k so as not to leech sales from the BRZ crowd. Whoever signed off on this production version (if this is actually it, I'm still holding on to hope until the official unveiling) needs to be fired, ASAP.

The front is pretty nice, somewhat similar to the concept. The back however is disappointing.

meh, however i do see some resemblance to the BRZ in the headlights. Should've been in WRB.

Hopefully it looks better in person than on pictures as with most new cars and their crazy bodylines. You can clearly see it seems to have widebody style fenders, but still looks flat.

However, Mitsubishi still wins at failed concept to production.

Expectation:

........Like honestly why don't companies just stick with their concept exterior (seeing they obviously can build molds for it and probably doesn't cost any more to build than the production versions), get rid of the over the top unneeded exterior features, down scale the interiors to be something a tad more realistic and walah, insta seller?

It's like saying look what we can make, BUT.... we are too cheap to build it, so we will give you a half-ass version!!!

99% of concepts are the ultimate form of automotive trolling

Concept looked agressive and awesome, the production roofline looks like the Civic

Can they salvage something with the hatchback...
