lessons learned:

that chirp noise sucks-
I need to plan for an exhaust! Holy crap, than nameless exhaust is BRUTAL.

Yeah, it's not for the faint of heart, lol. This header makes most systems, even the stock system very loud. Real thin walls. On the other hand, its the best performing UEL to date.

Anyone in the area looking for a premium GBS trunk with the limited spoiler? Looking to join the trunk swap club!

Hey Matt,

How much did you pay for your ecutek? did you buy the cable too? was it worth the $$?

I'm going FI eventually, so it's a necessary evil. Just curious if it is worth the large price tag.

thanks!

Just under $800 with the cable. I'm doing all remote tuning with FA20club. I just got my tune file back with my JDL UEL header. I now see a low trac light in shifting from 2nd to 3rd at 8k rpm. It's got some awesome power now so I know its working. Dyno is next.

Definitely worth it. I need to figure out how to get the racerom features on though. I don't have my launch control on like I want. I've love to set it to about 4k rpm and drop from there.

I assume you have to buy from FA20club to get their etuning service?

Drat. Here I was getting excited because I just got the "new" pump ordered today. This will be the third one. I had to pester them a little bit to get them moving this time.

Don't know if I believe it but one of the times I went by to try to get this one ordered the service manager told me it was the same part with a new number that corresponded to the 2014 FRS.

Last week started running pure gas and the crickets decamped immediately. But, the station is 40 miles (roundtrip) out of my way coming home from work so only got a couple of tanks. Sure hope the new pump works.

Yep, 0 ethanol isn't reasonable for us. I'm just going to wait even longer again I guess. I just can't believe its been a year and a half and this is still an issue.
