I'm still waiting for my car, it's been 13 business days. Then i have to deal with the claims adjuster who is going to low ball me hard. I've got some pretty good evidence ready though. My guaranteed trade in value from the dealership pre-accident was around 24k. A friend of mine quoted me at a dealership for around 17-18k trade in with accident. We'll see what happens.

Yeah...I don't even live there and am paranoid when i'm around visiting friends. In fact, i was visiting the same friend and the same kid almost hit me not yielding on a left turn going about 20-30. He was in a new ride/rental and i was in my rental and just mean mugged him. He lowered his eyes in shame when he realized i was driving.

Little punk...I mean I'm only 23 and I like screwing around but I try to do it when there's no people/vehicles around. If I fucked up my car AND someone else's in that area you wouldn't see me there ever again, if it's unavoidable I sure as hell wouldn't be driving the same way. Good job mean muggin the turd!!

They just called me and told me my right control arm needs to be replaced and possibly my right strut. Yay! If i was going to trade it in it'd be for a new one. I get sweet pricing on subies through work.

Update:

Went to pick my car up today, alignment was off and sent it back. I also noticed that they had somehow burnt through a 3rd of a tank in 4 miles. I complained and the shop said he has to check the pictures. I also told him i had a time and date stamped (non adjustable) photo of my gauges before it went onto the tow truck. He was silent after that. I also filed a complaint against the shop through the insurance. I really hope they didn't womp on the car too much, but really a 3rd tank in 4 miles ?!?

Sounds like someone had fun in your car lmfao... Luckly for ny situation I had to get gas because my light was on. Hopefully the shop fills my tank, but not with the cheap Arco gas across the street

Yeah excuse my language, but this shit is getting old. I'm tired of dealing with this shop and the whole situation. I asked for the alignment print outs and they didn't have them (prob because they didn't do it in the first place). When i get the car the steering wheel is to the left and the car is veering right. C'mon, then the whole situation with my gas going on joyrides and prob burning my clutch. I just want my car back in semi pre-accident condition, is that too much to ask? Not going to lie though, they did a pretty good job with the external body work. haha

Yeah, unless you authorized the drive I don't think that's cool. I personally told them to test drive it to see if there are any kinks. Did you get your car back? And how long

You need to talk to your insurance company pronto. It sounds like they weren't test driving. It sounds more like they went joyriding. Have your insurance company stomp a mudhole. Chen on here had some major issues a few months back. His thread is still up. And as of the last stuff he put in it his car is still jacked from them. I think they actually caused more damage to the car then what he did.
