Yeah, it looks great. This is really the only thing that I'll miss from the Xbox, so hopefully I'll have a GT game within the next decade.

Apparently one or two people have broken the embargo and posted CoD Xbox One videos online that show the same framerate issues that the PS4 has.

Won't really know til the game is out. The downside is that if that's single player, multiplayer will be worse.

For those that were not smart enough to not have pre-ordered a PS4, what are the chances of snagging one on release day? Anyone have a clue? I'm seeing "available" every single store I've walked in to.

After PS2 i switched to the original xbox, then to xbox360 so i'll probably go for a X1. But i'm not sure yet. The fact that the X1 has a few features i don't like and it's $100 more than the ps4 isn't exactly a selling point.

Also as a longtime online cod player i'm really disappointed in Ghosts. It's the first cod game i haven't bought on release day.

What features don't you like on the XBO?

Also curious how you're disappointed in a game you didn't buy? Did you play it before deciding? The changes to the multiplayer look like excellent improvements on a game I already liked. IMO MW2 > Ghosts > MW > MW3 >>> Any Treyarch title.

If you play a lot of shooters, it is night and day different between the two controllers.

Sony cut the supply on preorders off so people would be able to walk into a store throughout the holiday season and be able to buy a PS4. Now, that's no guarantee you'll find them everywhere, but they want them on the shelves so people don't get the XBO instead. Probably worth it to go check out the store a few hours before opening and see if there's a line.

I had to go to Best Buy tonight to pick up some stuff for work, and the employee was putting out the PS4 camera and the Dualshock 4 controllers. I picked up a box and said "cool, I haven't seen one yet" and he goes "well, you want to hold it?" Uh.. yes please. So he takes one that's already open and hands it to me.

First impression: Wow!

This thing is leaps and bounds better than the DS3, and nowhere near as heavy as my 360 controller. It makes the last gen stuff feel noticeably outdated by comparison. Can't give my opinions of the XBO controller because I haven't seen one yet, but with my limited time with the Dualshock 4 I could totally see it become my preferred controller. The triggers feel great, the analog sticks are way better now that they dumped the convex tops, and they felt a lot more weighty than the DS3. I'm really looking forward to it now.

Forza, Dead Rising, Titanfall, and the controller still weigh heavier than anything else in favor of XBO for me. That, and I'm invested 8 years into the XBL ecosystem. Cool chart tho. Sony has a LOT of indi support.

Yeah that's honestly way more than I originally thought.
I'll have Titanfall on PC, so really the only thing is Forza, and while it's a great game I'm sure I'll find a suitable substitute.

New announcement today. Inside every US PS4 is a voucher for PS+ for 30 days, Music Unlimited for 30 days, and a $10 credit for the PSN store. Not bad! Especially considering initially it was PS+ free for 14 days and that's it.

They're trying hard to fight back against the very effective ad campaign MS has had. Anything to get people to buy one before the 22nd. And praying they are still on the shelves after the 22nd!

Good deal. Still not making me buy one because you still have to pay for the PS+ after the 30 days anyway and with torrents, music is free regardless (though, as I understand, MP3s will not play on PS4..??) $10 credit to PSN store is nice!
