^Yes. If you want performance numbers AND fun, perhaps look to the LFA. If you want similar fun with just enough performance to be affordable, that's where the 86 shines.

back on that whole engine noise thing being in the cabin mic... I am starting to think they put a mic in the engine bay. Its almost like they put it right next to the intake. You know? Its got a very throaty and airy sound. I just hope they're not trying to fool us with changing levels in engine noise vs cabin noise. I don't know, my wrx with a 2.0 doesn't sound anywhere near as beefed.

There's no Mic... If you look at the engine bay, you can clearly see a tube that branched off the Intake that leads to the cabin. They announced that with the rest of the car specs many months ago...

yes... that intake needs to be heavily modified...

but I will miss the perfectly in tune 2 note octave the engine produces through out the entire power band. Yamaha making shit sound better than it is!

This is really hard for my eyes. I'm trying to get a 2015 FR-S and to have to wait another 3 yrs before I buy is making me sick. I'm going to have to lease or something. This video was amazing.

Honestly I don't think there is anything better for the money if it comes in at 23k. This car is 95% perfect for me and thats why I haven't given up on it at all. The other 5% might come on the next generation in 2018. All other cars doesn't have such a high percentage like by me so this car is pretty much it. I'm sure this car will be more than enough.

Engine sounds like it'd have a good note. A proper Blitz or SPT exhaust (if you prefer quieter) would go a long way. Can't wait to see people rocking poorly made backyard exhausts with non-matched uni-cans on it though.
