But you live in tacoma! Boring! I went to uw tacoma campus and that was the saddest college campus ive ever seen. At least your close to drift office. Tons of frs/brz owners in that area.

Haha, yes my FAMILY has always had interest in nice vroom-y vehicles. My dad has always had corvettes(once a 350z but didn't car for it) he currently has but rarely drives a 50th anniversary and his Harley fat boy he never rides anymore. My mom has a flat pink '39 dodge with a 400 big block, it has yellow and teal accents on the side and interior. Their DD is a Lexus LS460L. They're in te middle of purchasing a Toyota tundra the 17something or other addition and then there's my little FRS :]

It's safe to say we appritiate vehicles.

The 350z and 370z are both crap. Ugly, and for having a good bit more horsepower then the FR-S. And they do such a poor job of being drivable.

Agreed, it was kind of an impulse buy as he wanted to trade his old vette for something new, so it being a good deal(the vette was crapping out) and it being cheap for whatever reason and black which was a plus cuz they were in a black car phase, he got that and only drove it a few times. The only thing he liked was that the roof was electric. Then he went back to the corvettes and bought the 50th anniversary, there's something about them that's just classy. Idk

Hi @Missy .....

If your car came with summer performance tires and you plan on driving when the roads are snow covered, I seriously recommend you invest in a set of all season tires.

The first winter I had my Miata, which came with summer tires, I thought I could get by ..... because it doesn't snow that much around here.

After all, I've driven RWD cars through 14 winters in the midwest, 2 winters in Europe and 7 winters it Connecticut and never had snow tires.

Well, that light miata with rock hard tires was another ball game. Sort of like a hog trying to walk on ice!

I know buying winter tires is no fun ..... but sliding in a car that is out of control ain't no fun neither ....

I don't care if your car does have a limited slip differential, TC, ABS brakes, and VSC, ..... it's the contact patch that the tire has with the road, that stops the car.

I hope you get my drift ....
