EVS Tuning SSP Exhaust + Catless Front pipe - Review

I was looking for a single exit exhaust because I couldn't understand why I would need dual exit for 4 cylinder. I agree that not every one like the look of the empty second whole but this is life. Please note that my car is AT

The Sound.

I love it. It more on the loud side but it is very manageable. When you step on it, the engine sound is higher than the exhaust. When using manual shifting to shift in the 6000 rpm range , the Helmholtz muffler have a nice relief sound that I really like hearing.

The power.

The butt dyno shows increase in power above 5000 rpm. throttle response is diffidently better.

My question to the experts. Do I need a tune now? How can I know if the engine is going rich on fuel?

The pictures.

The Video.

Where I bought it.

Looks good you can get a flash to pick up a few extra hp but its not needed unless you really want to. This is the best flowing exhaust and most hp exhaust we have ever tested. The sound is awesome great for boosted cars, NA cars and also for daily driving.

It's pretty tame. There's so much less drone than my old s2k ever had. Like I said in the other thread it's a great exhaust, regardless of price.

Have u guys had any issues with the tip being too close/hitting the bumper? Mine melted a small portion after a trackday. Kinda disappointed...going to get a smaller tip.

How loud is the SSP with your HKS headers (catted or no)? Like the look of this exhaust but I want something not to loud if I decide to put headers on.

The HKS made the exhaust too loud for my taste. I thought I may need a resonated front pipe. But I tried to wrap the headers + Front pipe + mid pipe with DEI header wrap and the result was nice again. Still not quite but not too loud. I can say that I am satisfied now
