Here's the video from my first session... as it turned out I only got video from the first, and the last session, neither of which was my fastest LOL.

highlights:
-taking doggieboy09 down the Corkscrew for his first time
-passing a lotus exige
-seeing AyJay vanish into the horizon LOL
-stuck behind a novice S2000
-passed a busted integra on the side of the front straight
-caught up to a 370Z

-taking JDM FRS out for a ride

-keeping pace with a Miata

Nice driving Plato! Well done on catching that 370z.

I felt bad for that s2k, poor guy is trying to figure it all out while being passed by groups of cars with no point by. There was a lot of that going on yesterday, not sure if people are just clueless or don't want to follow the rules, but either way it sucks.

Thanks! Well I don't feel quite as sorry for that S2000. I thought the yellow group was for the more experienced of the Solo peeps -- i.e. presumably you've either done Laguna before or you've done track days with NCRC before. This guy seemed like he was neither. Felt like this guy was my nemesis all day, inwardly groaned whenever I came upon him on the track.

I don't mean to come across all grumpy or uppity, but I guess I have enough track days under my belt that I can ask to move up to the Point By group - I've heard a lot of these "beginner" issues are generally gone once you move up to the more experienced group. Don't get me wrong it still didn't prevent me from having a great time out there.

My 2nd trackday, first time at Laguna Seca. It was a blast and it was really fun that others from the community came and joined us for the day.
Video is a bit bouncy being mounted to the seat. I think wont use this location anymore.
There is a miata crash at the corkscrew at the 6:30 mark. Looks like he braked on the down section.

Sunday was such a fun day! Everyone was very friendly and it was awesome seeing the variety of cars. Thanks to all who let me and the BF ride along @AyJay, @BigFatFlip, @PMok! Big thanks to @MyRx for setting it up for me

Learned a lot, can't wait to get my car on the track

3rd gear all the way after Turn 5, coast at red line without rev limiter bouncing to keep car in neutral, lift gas after brake marker 3, no brake, turn in, full throttle entering apex at 75mph and exit at 80mph flat out up the hill to Turn 7
