My understanding of the LFA is that it is not very 'usable everyday' friendly.

i've been inside of (never driven, though) an lfa. it's definitely far from 'useable everyday'. the thing couldn't clear a speed bump to save it's life. sitting next to a 458 it looks like it's sitting on the ground.

So have I and it's absolutely able to driven everyday. Quite a few people do. In fact, apart from the Levinson sound system and automated wafting AC, potential owners were screened to ensure they would put the cars to use rather than tuck them away into storage. It's life is perfectly safe. The LFA rides on KYB adjustable coilovers and will clear a 458 if you want to.

you typically increase bore clearance by 0.05mm for a forged piston

anyway back to the OP

any reports from show goers yet? any good stuff?

Yeah the lfa is a bit on the extreme side, but if you love it I guess you can suck it up and daily it. Believe it or not the 458 is a VERY daily friendly car.

any updates as its all been a bit quiet?
Nameless have launched their manifold at the show I see and announced a partnership with Cosworth?
What are Cosworth doing then?
and apart from a different AVO turbo and a larger Sprintex unit what else of substance?
or was it all dancing girls and flashing lights?
