yeah thats true it is bigger i just read the stats for the ft-hs but idk i kinda still makes no sense what theyre trying to do lol. the ft-86 has been unveiled in geneva but they dont have anything of it on the toyota page so who knows only toyota does lol damn man

I too have wondered why the toyota page doesn't mention the 86. Maybe they believe it will reach production readiness quickly enough so there is no reason to make a page. Maybe the production page will be up soon. It could just say "Coming Soon." The new camaro had a well developed page long before the first one was sold.

Agree. FT-86 is like 80% production ready ( exterior).
anyway, Have you guys seen MR-2 hybrid concept by G sport? I think FT-SH probably is next gen MR-2, but the sizes are too different.

What I really wonder is if this whole "unintended acceleration" thing will put the FT86 on hold for the North American market. I'm starting to think Toyota wants/needs to divert more attention and money into bringing back consumer confidence before introducing the production vehicle at least in the NA market.

I'm waiting for this regardless of when it comes out.
i've had 6 Celicas in my life and i'm not getting another car till they release another Celica, in my eyes this IS the next Celica.

dang you had 2 of 1st gen Celica? I've always liked 1st gen Celica. Someday \, I wanna rebuilt one and put v6 or i6 (or maybe v8) in there and call it "Japanese Mustang". lol
