Skyline Drive was awesome way too many people though, If we ever need a route to take I have a great Full map memorized that would be a epic drive. Went on Road that has a 20mph speed limit will full banked turns for about 3 or 4 miles easy.

I went on skyline drive last Saturday, and ran route 211 a few times around 7am with no one in site

Did get a ticket on the way home after messing around on the mountain tho, haha.

Exact road I am talking about, I went all the way up and then took it back down. So amazing, but brakes need to be in proper order for sure

Yeah I ran it up and down, then back up to skyline drive, then took it back down, haha. Wish they did 2 lanes on the way down like they do for going up, would have made it a little better, still gave the brakes a workout

You guys are referring to thorton's gap. I've been going up and down that road since '91 on my motorcycle. It has gone down hill the past 4-5 years due to all the accidents and now there's usually a state trooper waiting at the top and addition of rumble strips before the turns.

It's a bit more exciting on a bike. in a car it might be a bit too slow with the tight radius turns. If anyone is willing to venture a bit further into WV, that is we're the real exciting roads

Yeah its thorton's gap, I was early enough and didn't see any law enforcement on the mountains.

Anybody else enjoy their ice cube summer tires this morning? Happy to report that even with stock fluid, no 2nd gear problems thus far. Last year at this temperature I was having issues.

My Continental DW tires were fine this 36F morning (6am, frost on most of my car's body panels).

My MPSS throttle oversteered way easier than they normally do. Also 36F here, but no frost on my car.

Should we start jerking each other off now, or wait until after 5?
