My roommate bought one in August for ~$3,500. At first I was jealous but his tranny doesn't downshift correctly (maybe bad synchros) and he might have an ignition problem.

All the used sports cars on this island are beat to shit. The decent condition Tourer V's are usually $6,000-$8,000.

I got lucky with my 2003 JZX110 Mark II. It may be an automatic, but it's in immaculate condition. I'd much rather sell it ($10,000 OBO) and put the money into making my Chaser a ~600whp, Megasquirt-controlled, digital dash-equipped beast.

If you really want I could probably figure out how to grey market import a JZX100 for you, there are 2-3 of them in Texas that I know of.
If you're talking about the red and silver ones, yeah I know both the guys who own them. They go to the Mineral Wells events.

I can get one. No biggy. I doubt I'll ever do it though.

Toyota GT86 Sedan Rumored for Dubai Motor Show Debut

While there’s been speculation and rumors of Toyota expanding its GT86 (known as the Scion FR-S in North America) lineup to include a sedan model, there’s reason to believe just such a car will debut soon.

A Facebook post and photo from the Dubai International Motor Show is touting the brands new “Wave design” stand set up, as well as the unveiling of a new GT86 based sedan, suggesting that the concept would make its debut at the Dubai Motor Show. The post is accompanied by a photoshop of a GT86 sedan.

Earlier reports of the GT86 based sedan stated that the car wouldn’t make its debut at an international motor show until the next Geneva show, making this Facebook post even harder to believe. Attempts to contact both Toyota or the Dubai Motor Show have been unsuccessful.

A new hybrid drivetrain is rumored to power the rear-wheel drive sedan, in addition to the same 200 hp 2.0L boxer motor that’s currently found in the coupe.

The Dubai Motor Show opens November 5th.

If they gave it a more powerful engine ide consider it to go along with my frs not instead of. My Golf TDI fills that void beautifully and I don't really see a frs sedan filling that void

It would be perfect to have a sedan version, it makes sense. But, I seriously doubt the extra power. Unless, the coupe version has it too. If so, that means the sedan will not be available anytime soon, until the next gen ft86 is released under the same drivetrain

Why would you make a sedan faster than a coupe ? I don't see why

It would compensate for the added weight. A heavier car with the same underpowered engine would just be a marketing disaster imo

I would much rather see a 2 door WRX over a 4 door twin. Every render I have seen looks disgusting.

I don't see it making sense. Mercedes CLA and Audi A3 Sedan are high quality premium cars with not powerful but torquy diesel engines (there are also powerful and torquy petrol engines). This car makes little sense, unless it is a Toyota badged Subaru WRX.
