So pretty much was early yesterday morning about 7 a.m I was on Redmond way, right by whole foods n brown bear, I was at the light pretty much. I merged and I was tryna slow down n merge to next lane which isthe left turn. Then this lady with a range rover just drove right into me. Didn't even yield, she told the cop I stopped at was a green light well bitch wtf was I supposed to do I was tryna get into the next lane... I guess I'm at fault for this one and I'm expecting a pretty ticket in the mail for " improper lane change" what makes matters worst I don't got a job any more and the whole back end is fucked.. damaged both fendors n my trunk won't close properly.. the fendors pushed in that its touching the wheel. God fml I have been having the worst lucks thats why I haven't gone to any meets lately. But yeah I do got insurance they will be covering everything hopefully, minus the deductible and my ticket... Just hope there is no internal damage fuck dude

I merged into the lane and I slowed down because I was tryna merge to next lane. She said I "stopped". Im pretty sure I know how to drive, I'm not out there in the streets looking for a wreck nah I'm sayen? I did proper head check and everything so no need to be rude bro. She should've slowed down I had a buddy with me too, in seperate car he even said she was coming in quick.

Looks like a lot of structural damage - do you know if your insurance is planning to consider it totaled?

I will find out tomorrow after the inspector investigates... It drive properly for most part hence the fendor rubbing against wheel.

If they do consider it totaled what will happen? I'm screwed either way fml

From my experience, the insurance claims adjuster will take a look at it and if the cost of repairs exceeds some percentage that the insurance company considers "totaled", they will reimburse you for the "value" of the car.

Generally if it's the latest model year, you get practically the amount that the car is worth minus any amount you have yet to pay off your loan. Your lien-holder i.e. your bank will be notified that you no longer have the car in your possession and that your debt for all reasons inclusive is considered gone. You'll get a check that you can spend on whatever you want, it's money that you've paid off on your car - most people use it towards their next car purchase.

Assuming your insurance company doesn't consider it totaled and instead they want to pay to have it fixed and you're still insistent on having it "totaled", you can find an independent claims adjuster to take a look at your car and they may be able to add calculated costs that the insurance claims adjuster failed to make a note of.
