I go every other year and this is my year off. I'll be ready next year. It is beyond compare. The best car show on the planet. It isn't open to the general public. You have to be involved somehow in a business that loosely has something to do with cars or products for cars or motorcycles. I have had friends in a business that could get me in as a rep for his business. If you do not work for an automotive related business like Jeff does, and you really wants to go, you can most likely find someone that can get you registered.
Getting to this show should be on every car guy's bucket list. 9,000 vendors and 14 miles of isles to walk down in order to see it all. Takes at least two days of walking from 9-5 to cover it. Here is a teaser. Pics from last years show. http://shows.autospies.com/gallery/S...w-Preview-661/

Anyone buy crash bolts from a local dealer? Is that something that is stocked?

My son spotted a rebadged Scion with Toyota badges here in Tucson at Old Chicago restaurant on Campbell and was alert enough to take a picture for me. Obviously I have trained him well. Is this anyone here?

Anyone can have a good or bad experience with any company. Look at me, I have a dyno sheet from vivid from when my exhaust was installed, and I have a dyno sheet from when I got tuned at good speed, and I lost 42hp at the wheels getting tuned according to paper.

Wow. 42 HP is massive. No doubt you can feel a 10 hp drop. Do you think you actually had a drop in power or is there a huge difference in the two dynos? What do you think?

So let me get this straight Jeff and I both agreed we were on the same page and the conversation was over. (Concerning Vivid) Smoketree's brings it back with a claim that the company just made a few mistakes yet that was not the case. There was no mistake charging a card that was not present nor an order made at the time which was Jack43's issue and I thank him for informing us.

If Jack doing that pushes you away from the forum and the internet then thats your business but as others have pointed out this is the internet and this is also the local OFF TOPIC thread. If you need further explanation of "Off Topic" then perhaps you should check other forums for just what the Off Topic section is.

We don't just talk cars in here, nor do we bash on members for talking about off topic items. If you can't handle that then either ignore it or go talk about cars in the multitude of other area's on this forum specific to exact sections of car modification with hundreds of others who want to. Don't try to force your personal views of how Off Topic conversation should be.

Thank you @40flash for reminding everyone about the past, it seems it can be easily forgotten. (I had even forgotten it) No one seemed upset about a group that was not contributing to a local event burning a car to the ground or ignoring its paying customers getting a black eye here.

@brenesk91 I am glad I was able to help those members I did yesterday and as I said you are always welcome to stop by. I am also glad I was able to answer your questions about the OpenFlash Tablet. When you are ready let me know and I will continue answering any questions you may have.

There are a lot of reasons this can happen, common things are Mustang vs Dynojet arguments but with a Mustang Dyno you can set the load ratings (I believe that's the term used, someone correct me with more experience with them) and that will change the numbers generated.

That is a big drop, bigger then the difference normally found between a Mustang and Dynojet. But that could be the reason for the change as well as weather conditions. We would need more information. However the typical difference is about 12% between Mustang vs Dynojet when properly setup.

Vivid has a mustang dyno. I was told good speed has a maha. Never heard of a maha. Decent jump in power after tune.

I'd go take your car back to vivid's dyno and run it again. Goodspeed's MAHA dyno reads pretty low, though I wouldn't have imagined that low.
