Here you go:

It's not a "direct" replacement like the other shark fins that go over the antenna base. This one actually replaces that piece so you need to go under the headliner of the car and remove it from there to put it on. It's worth the extra couple of steps to put on just based on how it looks compared to the other shark fins for the brz

so this shark fin is actually used in Japan for BRZ/FRS? Why they got it with the car while we don't? BTW, how difficult is the installation? Thanks.

Yep it's a Japanese option, and one of many things that probably won't be available to the American market. Unfortunately it's something we just have to accept since we get shafted pretty often with a lot of parts.

Installation is relatively easy, you're just working from the back seat in the small space between the headliner and roof

So you have to peel the headline off, install the fin and then glue it back? I tried to fix headliner on my old car, it was a mess. I like the fin, but I am afraid to mess with those spray glues.

It's much more simpler than that. Just get the back of the roof liner off enough to fit a wrench inside to unscrew the antenna base. Then put the shark fin in and tighten. No glue no mess

Today I tried to go for a nice drive in the afternoon. Instead I found the roads full of bad drivers. The best was the stereotypical Prius driver: elderly woman driving a Prius with a vanity plate that says "<3 Plant Life" driving her car on a lovely canyon road doing 15mph in the corners and <25 on the straights on a road with a 35mph speed limit. I was a Good Person(TM) and didn't tailgate or try to pass her, but the motorbike behind me passed both of us. I was jealous and wished my car was a foot wide...

Finally after fifteen minutes behind this lady, she slowed down even more to turn off the road I was on, and as I was sat behind her slowing down to 5mph for her to turn off I saw an old Buick roll up to the intersection she was turning off at and turn right in front of me. It was just one of those days... I think I spent about three minutes going over 30mph in over an hour of driving.

Luckily the few open corners I got were a lot of fun. BRZ loves to drive, even if BRZ has to wait its turn! It's so well balanced now with the suspension changes (coils, sways, rear subframe bushings, strut brace at the front)! It's nice and neutral: you can rotate it through corners using the throttle and control rotation on the way in using trail braking. It doesn't ever want to understeer now unless you're driving badly. Now I think I just want to do motor mounts and a diff brace to take the remaining slop out of the drivetrain and it will be pretty much right... although that Litchfield supercharger kit does look really tempting too :P
