I'm on the same boat as P, I might jump on if I'm not preoccupied passing out candy (as you may well know, my neighborhood gets pretty crazy with all the trick-or-treaters from Oakland)

LOL I've been driving assorted FR cars on MRLS to practice... S2000, S14, Soarer etc. And of course the BRZ.

Bet you could find one cheap on craigslist as well, lots of guys "grow up" and don't have time to play anymore so they gather dust in the closet haha.

I have a dedicated "game room" so if anyone ever wants to come over and bring their console/wheel/monitor (I have a small 25" widescreen monitor to lend if that is sufficient for you) we can do some serious wheel to wheel gaming haha.

does anyone have any tips on tweaking the full race suspension on the BRZ in GT5? I feel like no matter what I do with the height, springs and dampers the car just wants to understeer. :/
Call me weird but I feel like the stock S2000, with no mods feels much more "authentic" to me ... it turns in much better and has a controllable touch of oversteer. I've taken to using the S2000 to practice at MRLS rather than the BRZ, because the BRZ model is just so skewed to understeer.

^Exactly, I've played around with settings (maxing out rear spring stiffness, etc.) trying to bias the BRZ to oversteer, but no matter what I do, it seems like the devs just made the model biased to understeer (same way I have a hard time adding a little understeer to the GT86/FRS model).

That's a really sweet set-up Don't think my wife will let me get away with that though. My compromise is a modified wheelstand pro (extended the shifter platform, added e-brake lever for playing Dirt)

http://www.wheelstandpro.us/servlet/StoreFront

Very adjustable and folds up nice and compact to a corner when I'm not using it.

Look around e-bay/craigslist, G25's/27's are dirt cheap nowadays.

well I was kind of hoping to be able to tweak it without something as dramatic as mismatched tires... but yeah I guess I can try that. Really makes me wonder what all those suspension settings are for if it doesn't make any difference.

btw I've done a fair amount of comparison driving between the FR-S, BRZ and 86 in GT5 and maybe I'm in the minority on this, but they all feel the same to me in terms of handling. I don't feel any differences in how they drive stock vs stock, and I do pretty much identical lap times in all of them. I haven't played too much with the fully adjustable suspension on the 86, but I wouldn't expect that to be any different from the BRZ.

Yeah, but seeing as I already have about $250 invested in the DFP wheel and the wheel stand pro setup, I can't really justify spending more for a different set up... until something breaks LOL.

anyways i may not be able to get on tonight until around 9... we'll see how many trick or treaters I get.

From Jalopnik (http://jalopnik.com/gran-turismo-6s-...e-r-1459084516)

Quote:
This [Course Maker] feature, available at a later stage through an update, will allow you to create your own custom tracks that can be driven in the game. Additionally, in another update we will add the possibility to generate a track by capturing the GPS coordinate data of a mobile app while you are driving that course. This GPS-generated tracks will be available in the game as playable content.
Looks like we'll finally be able to recreate Redwood+Pinehurst like @PMok envisioned
