I saw you say newest pump, but some may think newest is that green dot one. Just wanted to be sure it was the latest TSB done.

I am taking my car in for routine service sometime in the next few weeks and will inquire about the new pump if it seems to fix the crickets. My crickets have been very intermittent. Here one day, gone the next. Even on the same tank of gas. I get them with both gas that has ethanol and gas that has no ethanol.

It really does not bother me since I put in a new sound system and don't hear them

Got fed up and took it in to Toyota today. 2,500 miles and this thing ticks loud. Almost like a small diesel. Annoying as hell

Well good news! Scion called me and authorized the new pump to be put in. On a plus, my dealer even had has the new pump in stock waiting for me. The bad news is that my car is still at the same dealer that hit something with it while pulling it out of the bay. Well at least they are holding the pump for me when she is finished.

Did anyone ever have chirping above the 1500-1600 RPM on the original pump?

Sigh...
Install squeaky pads, problem solved
And Subaru, apparently, chose today to update their TSB. Someone with an access should post it.

Ive got a call back from toyota today and long story short ISH the toyota dealer made a case for me. I tried throwing that Claimed new tsb for 10-17-13 and new pump part number and he said all that comes up is the old one from 2012 and the new part number pump would end up doin the same thing , and the service adviser said that toyota tech assistance said that they could replace the pump but there was a good chance the sound would come back and assured me that a fix was coming out soon he said toyota tech assistance would get a hold of him mid nov to let me know where they were at with it so i decided to get a hold of my case number and called toyota tech assistance to hear it myself and the guy on the phone was very informative and assured me that the pump with the new part number wouldn't make a difference and said they could replace it but there would be a good chance the sound would come back and told me that toyota has a fix coming and said they same thing as the adviser and tech, that the fix would come sometime after or around mid nov and for sure by the first of jan for sure there would already be a new tsb and fix for it by then. I hope they wernt screwing with me because it sounded legit :-/.
